Miriam has over 20 years of financial management experience. Her expertise includes budget and contract negotiations, grant management, strategic planning, operations, and personnel management.
For the past 16 years, Miriam worked in clinical research, most recently at Hartford Healthcare where she had financial and operational oversight of oncology clinical research across 5 hospitals. She also worked in pediatric research at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center where she had oversight of the financial management team overseeing Sponsored clinical trials funded by various pharmaceutical companies as well as federally funded grants.
During her tenure within the research world, Miriam also gave her time to our communities by volunteering at events that provided resources to those in need.
Miriam holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from California Coast University.
Her passion for working in the non-profit sector and making a positive contribution in our communities are a constant energizer in her life. In her spare time, Miriam enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, crafting, and the outdoors.
